It's August 3rd, 1492, and the village is in ferment: el Almirante Cristobal Colòn is to weigh the anchors of his three ships, heading to India! It's an historic day, so important that even the sponsors of this mission, Their Royal Highnesses personally, came here to salute the brave sailor and wish him "¡Buena suerte!"
To tell all the truth, the local newspaper has a scoop today: rumours say that the Admiral is not
Spanish, he's from Genua, Italy, a Cristoforo Colombo, man used to sail with the
competitors, the Portuguese. Bah, we'll see: for the time being, follow me in the village,
let's go and see what happens there!

E’ il 3 Agosto 1492, ed il paese è in gran fermento: el Almirante Cristobal Colòn sta per far salpare le ancore delle sue tre navi alla volta delle Indie! Il giorno è storico, tanto che anche gli sponsor dell’impresa, le Loro Altezze Reali in persona, si sono mossi fin quaggiù per salutare il valoroso navigatore ed augurargli “¡Buena suerte!”
A dire tutta la verità sul giornale locale c’è uno scoop: si insinua che l’Ammiraglio non sia un Iberico, bensì un genovese, tale Cristoforo Colombo, uno che prima viaggiava per mare con i concorrenti, i Portoghesi.
