Great animation, in this industrial area! Sales of balls is doing great, and they do not even use anymore the latex of Hevea Brasiliensis (they call it the "rubber tree" too)! Now another resin is available, that can be poured into moulds (you see, above, mounted on that merry-go-round?) and you take them out almost finished: just stitch a few black and white patches on them, and the match can start! P-o-l-y-u-r-e-t-h-a-n-e - they call it, never seen it around, before! Here, on the right, in the armoury, defence and hunting are the main concern: also here they use this new resin which expands to produce straight and well-balanced arrows. When duly hardened, their sharp points are dipped into the "curaro" poison (but safely, in the medicine-man hut!) so they become a Lethal Weapon. But also their neighbours know this trick, so it's better to have good shields: here they have real state-of-the-art ones, made with the same plastics seen above, but injected through special machines. Manpower is not a problem, Bahia is nearby! Both the injecting screw and the mould opening are operated with the patented "Bahiano-matik" system. All this technological wonder is Italian, it goes without saying, but strictly of local make. No way the Germans can compete with it: they will be trying for centuries, but they have no chances! "Italians do it better", right?


Gran fermento, qui nella zona industriale! La vendita di palloni tira alla grande, e già non usano più farli con il lattice della Hevea Brasiliensis (che qui chiamano albero della gomma): adesso è arrivata un'altra resina, che si cola negli stampi (qui sopra, montati su quella specie di giostra, vedete?) e i palloni si tirano fuori già bell'e pronti: basta cucirgli sopra i disegni bianchi e neri, e si può iniziare la partita! Poliuretano, sembra che si chiami questa diavoleria, mai vista prima qui attorno! Qui a destra, invece, si pensa alla difesa ed alla caccia: è l'armeria. Sempre con una roba che espande da sola si fanno delle frecce perfette, bilanciatissime. Appena indurite le intingono nel curaro (al sicuro, nella capanna dello sciamano) perché così diventano l'Arma Letale ! Ma siccome queste le hanno anche i vicini, meglio proteggersi con degli scudi veramente ...tecnologici. Anche qui, è giunta l'ora della plastica, amici! Viene stampata iniettandola con macchine avanzatissime (ne avanzano due, se qualcuno volesse comprarle ne possiamo parlare col capo-villaggio ...sono tempi duri!). La mano d'opera non manca, qui siamo vicini a Bahia: sia l'azionamento della vite per l'iniezione che la chiusura degli stampi è ottenuta col sistema "Bahiano-matik" roba brevettata da queste parti. Ingegneria italiana, s'intende, ma produzione rigorosamente locale. Altro che idraulica e robotica alemanna: non c'è proprio paragone: quelli ci provano da anni, ma non c'è storia! "Italians do it better", no?
