Local clergy takes good care of all activities related with the cathedral’s construction: all crosses, for instance, are moulded with modern injection moulding presses, driven hydraulically and coal-heated. They come from Italy too, but Ivan already sent his ambassadors to the Far East: their price seems to be lower, in those remote lands. Our famous icons, a nation’s pride, are now serial-made: their demand increased, it’s much better to thermoform them, they come out all the same! Decoration is still hand-made, of course, but now the painters demand to work sixty hours only, plus social security and contributions… God knows where we’ll end! Attentive teachers from our renowned Universities are charged with quality control, but marketing and sales are the usual task of our clergy; many important personalities show much interest for today’s production: can you tell them all, here below?
Talking of VIPs, a fellow took place on a balcony under the church and is holding a speech: not many people are listening to him, he might be talking of distant things… Just to be safe, an officer of the Red Army and a private of the Baltic fleet are keeping en eye on the crowd, to avoid any riot: crazy things could happen on this square!
