It’s December 16th of Anno Domini 1773, and the Griffin’s wharf of Boston’s Old Harbor is witnessing an historic moment: some fifty Sons of Liberty – not very convincingly dressed as Mohawk Indians – are dumping into the ocean 342 crates of Dajeerling tea, property of the powerful East India Company, to boycott the British monopoly of this commerce. The Company’s decision to dump the price of the much needed herb, to discourage the common practice of purchasing it from parallel tax-free channels, aroused the free traders and offended the patriots. Business ethics and national pride go hand in hand, as everyone knows… Follow me in this liberty frenzy, the whole story hasn’t been written about this glorious night - a lot still remains to be told!
