Cannon A-Compact: technology and compactness for reliability and quality. 

There is a growing demand in the Polyurethane sector for high-pressure metering machines which combine simplicity of management, high technical & quality standards, efficiency and reliability,  low investment costs.

The Cannon “A-Compact” has been developed to give a concrete response to these requirements. These models are often the ideal solution to solve the production problems of small and medium-sized businesses. 

Cannon "A-Compact" Basic

Apart from particular types of application which use filled or reinforced materials, the “A-Compact” models are now widespread and used to produce an extensive range of Polyurethane foams in the most varied of applications: from rigid low-density Polyurethanes for thermal insulation to flexible foam cushioning for automotive & furniture industries, from synthetic wood to integral leather.

The compact and rational design means that all machine modules - tanks, metering and electric panel - can be positioned on a single base, while the open structure allows for an excellent accessibility to all the parts for their easy maintenance and cleaning.

The “A-Compact” is easy to transport, requires less room for installation and does not require accessory wiring: a  true “Plug & Play” unit, immediately ready for the production start-up!

A-Compact - with variable output pumps

A-Compact FC (Frequency Controlled)

• Automatic output adjustment through frequency inverters on the operator panel that change the pump's speed
• Pouring programs - and pump's speed - automatically selectable shot-by-shot
• Fixed output pumps with reduced maintenance costs

Closed Loop

Both the above versions can be upgraded to Closed Loop function by installing a kit composed by inverter, flow transducers and dedicated software. Set output values are constantly compared with those measured in real time. Whenever deviations beyond the tolerances allowed are recorded, the control system automatically adjusts the parameters, keeping output & ratio values stable. The OVS (Output Visualization System) monitors, memorises and prints the main processing data.
