Cannon Viking have supplied more than 750 individual slabstock plants world-wide to more than 130 countries for foam block production.

The standard equipment range includes the world’s leading technologies for both continuous and discontinuous foam production for the economic manufacture of horizontal or vertical, round or rectangular foam blocks of varied density for conversion into the many numerous end products such as: bedding and mattresses, furniture and seating, automotive interior applications etc.

Current technologies include Maxfoam, Varimax, C-Max, Vertifoam and Conventional foam production processes known and highly regarded world-wide for economic chemical to foam block conversion.

Diversified and special foam slabstock requirements are also handled, examples of which have included: laboratory foaming equipment for chemical raw material development and trials, MDI foam block production machinery, Visco-elastic, Phenolic and Hydrophilic foaming systems and Re-Bonded foam plant.

An intensive Group R & D programme has generated many new technologies for slabstock production including CarDio™ - one of the world’s leading systems for expanded slabstock foams using natural Carbon Dioxide instead of CFCs and VOCs, and Omega – a standardised PLC control and monitoring system for simple yet highly accurate chemical processing and machine operation.

Turnkey equipment packages are also a speciality and can include all chemical storage and handling equipment complimented by foam cutting and conversion machinery as per customer requirements.
