Cannon Far East - the new fully-owned Cannon Group unit coordinating all Cannon activities in this area since July 1st, 2000 - is based in Singapore and has set subsidiary companies in Malaysia and Thailand, and branch offices in China (Beijing and Shanghai), Vietnam and Taiwan.
Cannon Far East will also handle directly the activities for the rest of the South-east Asia countries such as Philippines and Indonesia.

A total of fifty persons - most of them application specialists and service technicians, each bearing an average of ten years of experience in industrial equipment and machinery - will be working in the central and local offices when it reaches it's optimum level, for an expected turnover of 40 million US$.

Cannon have been present in the Far East and China territories since the early '80s through a network of local agents, headquartered in Singapore. The activities mainly involved Polyurethane machinery and plants.
More than 800 units and complete plants have been installed and serviced during these twenty years in this area, which is characterised by the World's fastest growing rate and by the highest number of potential end users for their products.
